We practice the Vinyasa style of Yoga which synchronizes breath and movement, cultivating physical well-being as well as breath awareness and inner stillness. Classes are dynamic and flowing, improving strength and flexibility.
Our teacher Himani is a Ryt 200 yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance. She was first introduced to yoga as a child by her mother. Living in Maui, Hawaii for 20 years and spending 6 years in India, she had the opportunity to study with great teachers, as Pattabhi Jois, Nicki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Helena Berg, Marc St Pierre and many more.
Yoga is beneficial for surfers, because it improves overall strength and flexibility, develops upper body and core strength important for surfing, expands breath capacity and lung function, teaches alertness and mental clarity as well as relaxation as a support in responding to the powers of the ocean.
